Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy Statement
Technical Demolition Services Limited (The Company, hereafter) is committed to guard against acts of modern day slavery and human trafficking within its business, and from supply chains, including sub-contractors.
The Company acknowledges responsibility to the Modern Slavery Act 2016 (amended) and will seek transparency within and with suppliers of goods and services to the Company. These represent the supply chain.
The Company’s due diligence processes countering slavery and human trafficking incorporates an Approved Supplier process prior to inclusion on our Approved Supplier Listing, and regular auditing to ensure good practice. Approval and Audit processes will incorporate reviews of controls undertaken by the supplier themselves. Imported goods from sources outside the UK and European Union may pose more risk for slavery / human trafficking issues. The Company’s Purchasing Manager will continually monitor these sources.
The Company will not support or conduct business with any organisation knowingly involved in slavery or human trafficking. The Company Directors and Senior Management shall take responsibility for implementing this Policy Statement and its objectives, and shall be vigilant, and provide adequate investments and resources (training, etc.) to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within the Company, Organisations with which we conduct business, or within supply chains.
Formal procedures concerning slavery and human trafficking have been established, including disciplinary procedures where they are breached. Company procedures ensure this policy is understood and communicated to all levels of the Company, and is regularly reviewed by the Directors to ensure its continuing relevance to Company activities.
This Policy, together with a copy of the Modern Slavery Act 2016 (amended) will be accessible to all employees electronically, and can be obtained from Head Office by request.
This Policy will be published on the Company website and will be available to the public and all interested parties.
This Policy supports the procedures documented in the Company’s Management Systems in compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and OHSAS 18001:2007. The implementation and operation of this Management System demonstrates our commitment to this Policy.
Technical Demolition Services Limited’s Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Act Policy will be reviewed by the Board on an annual basis, or more frequently subject to amendment in Regulations or industry best practice.
